1-1. DESCRIPTI0N.
1-2. The @ Model 175A Oscilloscope is a calibratedgeneral-purpose test instrument with a vertical bandwidthof 50 megacycles and a 6 x 10 cm display. Optionalplug-in units and accessories are available toincrease the versatility of this instrument. Specificationsare listed in table 1-1.

a. Plug-Ins. Plug-in units for the Model 175A includedual-trace and single-trace vertical amplifierswhich collectively cover 5 mv/cm to 20 v/cm sensitivitiesand dc to 50-mc bandwidth. Horizontal unitsinclude single sweep, sweep delay, a time-markgenerator, and a display scanner.

HP 175A Service Manual

The @ Stock No. 175A-95A Modification Kit, whenadded to the @ Model 175A Oscilloscope, providesthe sweep and gate voltages at the rear panel of theinstrument. These outputs may be used to sweep orsynchronize external equipment or circuits with theoscilloscope.The SWEEP OUTPUT voltage provided is approximately5 volts in amplitude and is centered about0 volts. The GATE OUTPUT voltage is approximately4 volts in amplitude and is riding a -2.5 volt level.The Modification Kit is complete with all necessarycomponents, wire, and hardware. You can install thekit with simple hand tools. Holes for mounting thefew components are already provided in the instruments.
